After an arthroscopy in 2012, i was offered a partial knee replacement by Mr.Cope to take place in December 2019. After a very successful operation and recovery period, i was discharged February 5th 2020. From my first visit with Mr.Cope and his team i was made to feel comfortable and kept fully informed through out my period of care. Prior to my operation i was in constant pain which impacted on my family life especially time with my grandchildren , i am now back to near full fitness and able to enjoy my time virtually pain free thanks to Mr.Cope and his team.

I had a partial knee replacement with Mr Cope December 2019. Had a consultation in September and booked my surgery for December whilst there. Very thorough and explained everything. Felt very comfortable and at ease. Surgery went very well, good recovery. Had a follow up appointment in February, any concerns I had were answered. I felt I was treated very well and thought Mr Cope was an excellent surgeon who did a wonderful job. Very happy.

From the first consultation to the last visit I was treated with care and respect. When agreed treatment was discussed with Mr Cope, the x-ray of knee to be operated on was explained in full and any questions I had answered. The nursing staff and physiotherapist could not have done more to care for me. Only eight weeks after the operation I can walk more than a mile without any pain and I am able to kneel down for a short time with care.

My operation and post- op care went very well. Everything was as I had hoped for or better. Mr Cope is a brilliant expert in his field. Mr Cope showed me my X-ray at my three month post-op appointment and explained about the replacement joint. He looked at my movement and gave me advice on getting my knee straighter and gave me time to ask him any questions. I hope that he was as pleased with my knee as I am. The clinic is busy and it would be great if there was slightly more time, but I am very satisfied following my appointment.

I had a total knee replacement in December 2019. From my consultation in September 2019 to today, when I had a follow up appointment, I have been treated extremely well. Mr Cope and his team are very attentive, caring and endeavoured to put my needs first, every time. I felt comfortable, well informed and relaxed at all times. Without a doubt, I would have further surgery under Mr Cope without giving it a second thought. Thank you so much to you all for going the extra mile and for the excellent care I received. Kind regards Louise Holderness
